Controlling a c++ application via a web-browser

Just a small video demonstrating the remote-controlling of a c++ application via a web-browser. The c++-application contains a small web-server (based on asio and boost) which serves static files and listens for specific requests. On the browser-client a small javascript-app modelled around backbone.js and jQuery queries the c++ application for a list of controls and updates the controls when needed and send new values back to the c++-application.

Exploding cows

Some exploding tests (realtime) done with OpenSceneGraph and cefix.

OpenSceneGraph & iPad

another example showing OpenSceneGraph running on an iPad. Finally implemented multitouch and interface-rotation.

(The user-interface is generated by another lib)

6 windows

six independent windows show a part of a 3d-scene. It's part of some tests to get rendering different viewports of a scene right. Can be used as a cubemap or as a cage-installation :-)

Made with c++, OpenSceneGraph and cefix. Sorry for the ruckelnde experience, runs with 60hz on my computer.

More Particles

Particles following the flow of movements, adapting to the color and brightness. Made with c++, OpenSceneGraph and cefix.

First iPhone-App

this is some shitty recording showing my first app using OpenSceneGraph in conjunction with my own framework running on an Iphone.

This is the time

ein paar Screenshots eines typographischen Experiments: Ein Songext vom Laurie Anderson verstrudelt in 3D. Auf meinem Flickr-Account gibt es ein paar mehr Bilder + ein Video.

Cubemap 1+2

some tests of a new class called ScreenConfiguration. These are basically 6 windows (without titlebar), every window has its own view, theoretically now it's possible to do all rendering necessary for a cave. Or use as a cubemap,

Fluids

FTT-Werte direkt in eine 3D-Fluids-Simulation, das ganze läuft mit 60Hz.

Failed

some extruded geometry -- use red-cyan glasses to get the full 3d-effect

Isosurface

Perlin-Noise als Iso-Surface gerendert

Lines

some lines in 3d-space (c++, OpenGL, OpenSceneGraph)

Anaglyphic Splines

Screenshots von Programmierskizzen, die aus Bildern Gekrakel zaubern. Man braucht eine Rot/Cyan-Brille, um diese anaglpyhischen Renderings in Echt-3D zu erleben.

Flickr-API in 3D

flickr bietet eine API um auf den Pool der Fotos, Zeichnungen etc von externen Programmen zuzugreifen.

Offending command

Wenn Drucker nicht so wollen, wie sie sollen, kommt manchmal auch was gutes bei rum.

Simple Motiondetection

this is an example of a very basic motion-detection-algorithm using live video as input -- looks kinda funny.

Made with c++, OpenSceneGraph.

Weihnachtspapier

In diesem Sinne, hunderte schöne Sterne + schöne Tage. (Danke an NodeBox für dieses tolle Programm)
